Travel day!
We traveled down to Galveston TX. On January 20th leaving the cold behind and heading to warmer places. The flights went as planned with no delays. We got in late and went to the Airbnb. We know this year was going to be different as none of our friends where joining us this year. also with it being post Covid we did not know what to expect.
Day 2- Pre-party!
We got up and found some coffee at MOD Coffeehouse we had the full day to explore the area we walked around and went to the shops that were open. Waiting for the pre party. This year it was a pub crawl.
Day 3- Saturday, Jan 22
Embarkment day!
The moment we've been waiting for has finally arrived! We checked out of our cozy Airbnb and headed to the port, buzzing with excitement to board our 7th Shiprocked adventure. As we lined up to enter the port, the thrill of the journey began to build—this is truly one of the best times of the year for Nicole and me to enjoy together!
Every year, we kick off our week-long festivities with an exciting sail away party. The amazing Ask4 team welcomes us with open arms, announcing the opening band and sharing all the thrilling plans for Shiprocked 2023! After that, we gather for a fun family photo— see if you can find us!
