Cruise Ports
Here are all the ports that we have been to and things that we found to do around the ports.
Our journey began at this port, where we embarked on our very first cruise. We always arrive a few days early, and for the first few years, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami downtown. This hotel stands out for several reasons, its prime location near the port, a shopping center just across the street, and its affiliation with the IHG group, which we trust for our accommodations. In 2025 we are getting an Airbnb. We have a good group of friends that wanted to join and hang out before the cruise.
In 2014 & 2015 we cruised on the Norwegian Pearl.
In 2024 & 2025 we cruised on the Carnival Magic.

When we found out that Shiprocked was going out of this port we were excited!
After going to this port we have found the things that we like to do at this port one the the first stops is the Ron Jon surf shop. We got to take the kids to this port in 2023. When traveling to this port you can fly into Orlando and there is a lot you can do like Universal Studios, Disney World and even the NASA's Kennedy Space Center
In 2018 we cruised on the Carnival Liberty.
In 2023 we cruised on the Carnival Magic.
In 2023 we cruised on the Disney Wish.

Port Galveston
This port has a lot of shops that you need to check out but if you go in January some of them are closed as it is there winter break. We have only got a hotel after the cruise, close to the airport. We got an Airbnb both times staying close to port. everything is walking distance. We did a pub crawl that Ask4 put together for the pre-party.
In 2019 we cruised on the Carnival Valor
In 2022 we cruised on the Carnival Breeze.

Port New Orleans
Welcome to New Orleans, a vibrant city bursting with life! From mouth-watering beignets to shops and captivating street performances, there's something for everyone. Our experience with Ask4 was unforgettable, as they organized an incredible parade event went down the iconic Bourbon Street.
Cafe Du Monde and the Ruby Slipper is a must stop!
In 2020 we cruised on the Carnival Valor
