About Us

Nicole was born in Grand Forks, ND then moved to Jamestown, ND in 2003. I (Steve) was born in Denver, CO then moved to Jamestown, ND in 1997. We met in high school and started dating in November of 2004. After I graduated in 2004, I moved to Wahpeton and went to NDSCS. Once I was done with college I moved to Fargo and got a job at Grants Mechanical. After Nicole graduated high school in 2006, she moved to Fargo and went to massage therapy school. Once she graduated, she went back to school at Rasmussen College. In 2010 we moved back to Jamestown, Nicole got a job at Anne Carlsen Center and I got a job at Hillerud Construction, Inc. 

We got married in June 2013. Nicole and I went on our honeymoon in January 2014. This was our first cruise; it was on the Norwegian Pearl. This was not a normal cruise, this was one that had bands and lots of music on board, called Shiprocked. Shiprocked was the thing that after we got on the ship, we looked at each other and said we will be doing this every year.  We added our first child, Oliver, to the family in June 2015.

In 2017 I accepted a job at Pivotal Edge, Inc. I moved to Bismarck and lived with my sister until we were able to find a house of our own. In October 2017 we found our house and the family was back together under one roof. Nicole started doing daycare and was able to be home with Oliver.

We wanted to add another child to the family and Jakoby was born in August 2018.

In 2020 we got a camper to start making memories with our kids and going on adventures as a family. 

Shortly after getting the camper, we found out that we would be having another baby. Mia joined the family in August 2021. We were so excited that we would be adding a girl to the family. Nicole and I talked after having Mia about being done having kids, but we were still undecided. Well life had a different plan for us, we found out that we would be having another baby girl, due in December 2022. Baby Ellie decided to join us early, arriving in November 2022.
